Inter-Agency Meetings

Inter-Agency meetings, held twice a month, are the principal mechanism for coordination of UN activities at the country level. They are an important means through which Agencies exchange information as well as ideas and heads of Agencies make decisions regarding common issues.  Through the Inter-Agency Meeting, Agency Heads assess needs, set policies and priorities and review work in progress on Inter-Agency collaboration.

The meeting is chaired by the Resident Coordinator and attended by all heads of Agencies, the Senior Advisor and the Assistant to the Resident Coordinator.
